Clare Women in Business Network’s 1st In-Person Event

Local Enterprise Office Clare was delighted to host the first in-person Women in Business networking event since COVID 19. Facilitated by Theresa Mulvihil, the event took place on Thursday, 26th May 2022 in the Templegate Hotel, Ennis 10am-12noon featuring a panel discussion with successful female entrepreneurs: Niamh Hogan of Agile Digital Strategy, Rowena Sheen of Rowena Sheen Jewellery, Claire Bannon of Indigo Signs & Avokado & Co and Patricia Farrell of Wilde Irish Chocolates. The four panelists gave excellent tips on networking and importance of networking for the female entrepreneurs in the room.

The event saw an attendance from businesses across all sectors from food, craft and services to technology and manufacturing. Attendants have businesses from various stages from idea generation and start-up to established and growth stage. Padraic McElwee, Head of Enterprise Clare said “These events are an ideal opportunity for female entrepreneurs to gain valuable tips for business and make new contacts. Networking is a substantial part of the events, as all the attendees have the opportunity to interact with other businesses and share their views and business experience. It’s also refreshing to see everyone back in the room and networking face to face.”
